Our history

In 2003, Blake Elliott and his family were propelled into the disability services industry when his younger brother was in a car accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury.

As a result of his brother’s accident, Blake became dedicated to learning more about the disability industry. After spending twelve years in the industry, Blake decided to start an organization that could help the most vulnerable adults, who have historically had few options. In summer of 2015, he partnered with Ross Denne and together they founded Bridges.

Today, Bridges is a thriving organization of over 1,200 employees that work around the clock to support and empower our residents to achieve goals that will empower them to live their most independent life.
